How are you doing working for the call center in the states? good? I doubt it. Ever since the pandemic, numerous healthcare call center employees, including Doctors, Nurses and Representatives have been bombarded with calls of an “I want it now” attitude.

Many people will yell, curse, make threats, make comments about how they don't understand you because you have an accent, and many more.

Who are these rude, and mean people?

I assume your answer is old people? You are correct, many of these calls are old people or people who are technology illiterate. Why? because many of them refuse to adapt to changes and expect the person on the other line to solve their problem.

I’m sure many call center healthcare agents are now burnt out and mentally stressed. Many would say the call center workers got it easy and all they do is listen to people's problems. You got it wrong! when you are listening to angry calls and maybe a few goods call eight hours a day in and day out will drain you mentally even if your one of those tough cookie who thinks you can handle calls that that will yell and curse at you. Also, you got your managers rating your calls and checking if you are following the script guidelines.

The worse part is when customers or patients scream at the agent at the other line thinking they can get something right away, you are dead wrong. Be kind and respect the healthcare agent and they will gladly assist but that would be the perfect world.

In most cases, people working for the call center end up quitting, and turn over rate is so high.

Remembering the days working at a call center and I quit so fast I didn't want to think about it.

I give many blessings to everyone working at the call centers, I appreciate you and take care of yourself mentally and physically.

To conclude I did not survive, I end up quitting.
