When I lived in the bay area, many people are basing on wealth by owning million-dollar homes and driving around Tesla. But now that I saw a bigger picture, many of these people are house poor and in debt. Many of my co-workers filed bankruptcy because they can't handle the payment, and they end up losing their homes for a quick sale and many more.

I tend to save my money and drive a Prius because, in the end, it's just me that will suffer by buying something that I cannot afford or wasting my money.
